UNFPA GCC April-June 2016 highlights some important topics, including UNFPA recent activities in Oman and the region including UNFPA/WHO Joint Action Programme with MoH-Oman, and UNFPA GCC remarkable visit to the Girls House in Al-Buraimi governorate in Oman, in addition to our recent agreement of co-operation with the National Youth Commission in the country. On regional level, the newsletter highlights UNFPA participation in the Arab conference on the role of civil society in the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030. The newsletter also conveys the statement made by Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin, United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UNFPA, on the International Day to End Obstetric Fistula.
