On 24th November, 2019 UNFPA GCC held an online press conference for the Regional Director of UNFPA Arab States, Dr. Luay Shabaneh. The Omani media, led by the major news outlet Oman Observer, featured the RD statement and mentioned that the most important outcomes of Nairobi Summit ICPD25 are the importance to eliminate GBV (Gender Based Violence) against women and young girls, adopt human approach in addressing population issues and ensure the rights of women and men in the development process and to enjoy their SRH&Rs.
