The aim of the training was to equip and refresh the team members with the quality assurance measures needed when providing HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and service provision information to the public.
The trainer who conducted the workshop is a young physician working at the HIV/AIDS section of MOH who is an HIV/AIDS specialist and accustomed to the peer education methodology. By the end of the workshop the Y-PEER team members were prepared to lead the activities at the festival and educate their peers.
